New Huni Skincare products added.

They're here. The new products in the Huni skincare range have arrived in our shop - yesterday actually, so are now on the shelf in store, and today have added them to our website.

You can see the full range of Huni skin care here

The new products in the range are:
All Day Hand and Nail cream
Intensive Hydrating Mask
Anytime Lip Treatment
Eye cream

There are also a couple of gift sets available too, which combine 4 of the moisturising and cleanser products. We have these in our store, but have to work out the practicalities of being able to post them out before adding them to the website - they are packaged up in a gift box.

We got to see these new Huni products a few weeks ago when visiting Comvita headquarters in New Zealand, and are now very proud to be one of the first to have them available in the UK.

If you haven't tried the Huni skincare range before, if you are in the UK, visit our website and send us a quick email, we do have a few sample sachets of the moisturisers that we can send out on request.

Visit to Comvita HQ in New Zealand

For the past two weeks a couple of us have been visiting New Zealand, and was a great opportunity to meet up with suppliers first hand.

Made a visit to the headquarters of Comvita at Paeangaroa, a little south of Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty. Was really good to chat with some people there, and get a glimpse of the actual processing of the manuka honey into jars (wasn't able to get too close as its all done in a proper hygienic environment).

Passed a some direct feedback from our customers with regard to the packaging of some products, mainly the round jars from the UMF20+ honey.

Was also interesting to have a look around their visitor centre, and see a few of the new products that we may be able to get here in the UK in future.

It all confirmed our reasons for stocking the Comvita manuka honey. They are focussed on being a quality health products company, with the emphasis on quality of product, rather than being a honey company trying to find ways to sell more honey.
